Thank you for selecting Bon Conseil Pty Ltd to provide professional accounting and taxation services.
We look forward to supporting you in managing your financial affairs with accuracy, integrity, and strategic foresight.These Terms of Engagement (TE) set out the basis on which we will act for you, including the scope of services, your obligations, and the professional and legislative requirements under which we operate. By proceeding, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

This document sets out the terms under which Bon Conseil Pty Ltd will provide taxation, compliance, and advisory services to your company or trust. It ensures clarity of our engagement, outlines our professional obligations, and defines your responsibilities as directors, trustees, or officers.
Scope of Services
Our services to companies and trusts may include, but are not limited to:Preparation and lodgement of company or trust income tax returns.
Business Activity Statements (BAS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), and PAYG withholding/instalments.
Payroll services, Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting, and WorkCover/Payroll Tax obligations.
Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns and declarations.
Transfer pricing and international tax compliance.
ASIC and corporate affairs, including annual reviews, changes to directors, and maintenance of registers.
Forensic accounting, management reporting, and advisory services.
Professional Obligations
We act in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009, CPA Australia professional standards, and APES requirements. This includes APES 110 (Code of Ethics), APES 205 (Conformity with Accounting Standards), and APES 220 (Taxation Services). You can expect our work to be performed with integrity, independence, professional competence, and due care. We carry professional indemnity insurance and participate in the CPA Australia Professional Standards Scheme.Our practice is bound by:

The Code of Professional Conduct under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009
The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable data security obligations
The Professional Standards Scheme administered by CPA Australia Ltd.
We maintain open and effective communication with clients and provide clear advice regarding rights, obligations, available options, and potential risks under Australian taxation law.
Your Responsibilities
As directors, trustees, or responsible officers, you agree to:Maintain complete and accurate accounting and corporate records.
Provide all documentation necessary for the preparation of returns, reports, and lodgements.
Retain financial records for at least five years.
Review assessments, reports, and filings prior to submission.
Authorise Bon Conseil to act on behalf of your entity with the ATO and ASIC, and to use your business email as an official channel of communication.
Ensure compliance with superannuation, employment, and other statutory obligations.
Privacy & Data Security
We collect, store, and use your personal information (including Tax File Number (TFN) and identification documents) strictly in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We use reputable, secure cloud platforms, and we will not disclose your information without your consent, except as required by law or to deliver the services requested.Our full Privacy Policy is available on request.
Fees & Billing
Fees will be agreed on a fixed or time-cost basis and confirmed in writing. Disbursements (such as ASIC filing fees or external search charges) may be billed separately. Invoices are payable within five days unless alternative terms are agreed.Acknowledgement
By proceeding, you formally appoint Bon Conseil Pty Ltd as your tax agent. You authorise us to represent you in all dealings with the ATO and confirm that email may be used as a primary method of communication. By submitting the form below and ticking the confirmation box, you agree to these Terms of Engagement and authorise Bon Conseil Pty Ltd to act on your behalf as your tax agent. -
Members in Public Practice must maintain open and frank communication, advising clients of rights, obligations, available rulings, and potential penalties under taxation law.
Responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all information rests with the client.
Advice given is an opinion based on information provided and is not an audit or assurance engagement.
Taxpayers are required to maintain adequate records to support reporting under Australia’s self-assessment system.

By engaging Bon Conseil Pty Ltd, you authorise us to prepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports on your behalf, based on the payroll information you provide by each pay run date.
You confirm that:Employee entitlements, PAYG withholding, and superannuation contributions are correct and compliant.
No outstanding ATO debts exist unless under arrangement or review.
You will provide accurate, complete payroll data in a timely manner.
Bon Conseil Pty Ltd will lodge each STP pay event using approved software and in compliance with the ATO’s registration requirements.

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where applicable and adopt the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as best practice.
We:Securely store personal information and use it only for the purpose it was collected or as required by law.
Disclose data only to trusted third parties (such as secure cloud service providers) where necessary to deliver services.
Maintain confidentiality except where disclosure is legally required.
Provide clients with access to their personal information upon request.
How to proceed
Read & Agree – view the Terms of Engagement (Companies & Trusts) and confirm your consent.
Provide Details – Enter entity and contact details, and upload required documents.
Submit – Authorise us to act on behalf of the entity and submit the form.
What to prepare
ABN (and ACN if applicable)
Registered entity name and trading name (if different)
Director/Trustee details (name, email, phone)
Proof of ID for at least one authorised director/trustee (Driver’s Licence or Passport)
